About us

Objectives

L’objectif de ce projet est de caractériser la présence de notre cible (la Netrin-1) dans les cancers du rein chromophobe. Nous voulons d’une part étudier sa présence dans la tumeur primaire, et d’autre part dans les métastases. Ces analyses devraient nous permettre de définir si la Netrin-1 est un biomarqueur de la pathologie que nous pourrions cibler chez les patients à mauvais pronostiques (ie. métastatique) à l’aide traitement innovant.

Nous aimerions obtenir une dizaine de cas de tumeurs primaires et au moins 3 cas de métastases (avec la tumeur primaire si possible). Nous avons besoin d’échantillons FFPE pour réaliser les études par IHC. Nous aimerions également obtenir un peu de tissus congelés pour réaliser des western blot afin de déterminer la quantité de protéine dans la tumeur.
