About us

Objectives

La majorité des tumeurs des tissus mous sont non-cancéreuses. Par conséquent certains sarcomes des tissus mous (STM) sont a priori considérés comme bénins et font l’objet d’une résection inapproprié sans biopsie préalable. Le risque de résidu tumoral après ces opérations atteint 30 à 70%.

Les indications de radiothérapie adjuvante des STM sont basées sur des études incluant des patients primo-opérés. De plus bien que les résultats de la radiothérapie aient été précédemment évalués directement après chirurgie inappropriée, ils ne l’ont encore jamais été en situation de ré-opération. 

Nous souhaitons réaliser une étude observationnelle rétrospective monocentrique. Celle-ci évaluerait les bénéfices d’une radiothérapie adjuvante ainsi que les potentiels facteurs pronostiques pouvant en poser l’indication chez des patients majeurs ayant subi une résection locale de tumeur des tissus mous supposée bénigne mais s’avérant être un STM, et ayant été par la suite réopérés.

Population subject to research or data processing

100 à 200 patients de plus de 18 ans ayant subi une résection locale de tumeur des membres ou du tronc supposée bénigne mais s’avérant être un sarcome des tissus mous, et ayant été réopéré avec ou sans radiothérapie adjuvante par la suite.
