About us

Objectives

Le projet Eve Marie a pour objectif global d’évaluer l’intérêt du positionnement assis, semi-assis ou debout des patients en comparaison à une position allongée dans le cadre d’un traitement par radiothérapie. Ce projet sera conduit dans le cadre d’une collaboration avec la firme LeoCancerCare qui a mis au point la contention en position assise, semi-assise ou débout. Il vise à élaborer un possible nouveau “standard” de traitement en radiothérapie.

Dans cette première étape, nous évaluerons sur volontaires à partir de questionnaires et d’observations, les différentes positions et systèmes de contention associés pour des localisations thoraciques, pelviennes et ORL. L’objectif est d’établir pour chacune des localisations tumorales pressenties le meilleur positionnement, c’est-à-dire le positionnement rapide, reproductible, stable et tolérable pour les patients.

Cinquante volontaires qui seront balancés entre hommes et femmes, et selon l’âge (< 60 ans et > 60 ans).
