About us

Objectives

Ce projet scientifique vise à réaliser la dosimétrie in-vivo en protonthérapie, un domaineactuellement inaccessible. L’utilisation de l’intelligence artificielle (IA) permettra de relier lamesure des gamma prompts et des neutrons collectés en salle de traitement, aux simulationsMonte Carlo des plans de traitement. Ainsi, une dosimétrie à la volée pourra être effectuéependant les traitements en cours, une fois que le modèle neuronal sera entraîné. Deuxapplications sont prévues : l’une en PBE (protonthérapie oculaire avec MEDICYC) et l’autre enPHE (protonthérapie conventionnelle avec le ProteusOne). On pourra ainsi vérifier les dosesadministrer en cours de séance (ProtonGuard.IA). Le rationnel de l’étude repose sur lacollaboration avec un doctorant en physique de l’Université de Franche-Comté, dont jecodirige les travaux, sous la direction du Pr. Régine Gschwind et en collaboration avec le Dr.Pierre-Emmanuel Leni. Ils sont basés à Montbéliard. L’étudiant au doctorat a commencé sa thèse en janvier 2024 dans le laboratoire du Pr. Gschwind.

Objectif principal:

développer un outil de dosimétrie in-vivo en protonthérapie

Objectifs secondaires:

- Modélisaton Monte Carlo des lignes médicales de protonthérapie

-développement d'un model d'IA pour la dosimétrie en hadronthérapie
